Overview :

The Baxt Trauma Triage Rule is intended to identify adult major trauma. It is useful to identify those patients who will eventually die or require emergency operation.

Patient Selection: applies to patients >= 15 years of age

 

Interpretation:

• If all 3 findings are present, then major trauma is present.
