[07.04.07] Criteria of van't Hof for Normalization of ST Segment Elevation After Primary Angioplasty in a Patient with Acute Myocardial Infarction

Purpose: To evaluate a patient for probability of acute MI using the revised predictive instrument of Pozen et al.

Does the patient have pain in the chest or left arm? Yes No   Is the patient's chief complaint pressure, pain or discomfort in the chest? Yes No   Does the patient have a history of previous myocardial infarction? Yes No   Does the patient have a history of using nitroglycerine for chest pain? Yes No

Does the electrocardiograph show?   Yes No ST segment elevation or depression by >= 1 mm?   An ST segment show "straightening"?   T wave peaking or inversion by >= 1 mm?
